We are proud to announce that our Laureate of 2014 Prof. K.C. Nicolaou, was awarded the highly prestigious Wolf Prize in Chemistry, on 2nd June 2016 in Israel. Prof. Nicolaou shared the award with Prof. Stuart L. Schreiber.
The Prize was presented by the President of the State of Israel in the Knesset (Parliament) in Jerusalem and was followed by a buffet dinner at the Presidential Residence, hosted by the President Mr. Rivlin.
Mr. & Mrs. Takis Nemitsas attended both the ceremony and the dinner, after an official invitation.
The Wolf Prize is regarded as a leading award in the academic world, second only to the Nobel Prize. More than 30% of Wolf Laureates later received the Nobel Prize.
